【梵净山保护动植物】瞧那梵净山，珙桐花开如白鸽翩飞
4月12日，走进地处梵净山麓的江口县德旺乡坝梅村，青山似黛，景致如画，清风拂过，山间绿浪翻滚，盛开的珙桐花，如一只只白鸽，展翅欲飞，灵动娇美。珙桐，别名水梨子、鸽子树、鸽子花树，为落叶大乔木，第四纪冰川孑遗树种。被誉为“中国鸽子树”，堪称“植物界的活化石”“植物界的大熊猫”“和平使者”，为国家一级保护植物。梵净山珙桐分布的海拔线在1000-1800米，集中分布区为1300-1400米，珙桐的花期为20天左右，开花季节一般在清明后10天至谷雨后10天。位于江口、印江、松桃3县交界的梵净山，是武陵山脉主峰，也是地球同纬度唯一保护下来的“绿飘带”，素有“生态王国”之美誉，2018年，成功列入世界自然遗产名录、评为国家5A级景区。
